Makita-built outer rotor brushless motor delivers the power of a 25 cc gas string trimmer. Automatic Torque Drive Technology mode automatically shifts from 3,500–6,500 RPM for extended run time or added power. The digital communication within XGT optimizes performance to provide up to two times longer sustained power under heavy-load applications. 15" cutting swath for increased productivity. Up to one hour of run time with 40 V XGT 4 Ah battery. Three-speed options (Low: 3,500 RPM, Medium: 5,300, High: 6,500 RPM) for power and run time management. Reverse rotation function allows operator to quickly clear trimmer head of entangled grass and weeds. Adjustable loop handle for operator comfort. Rapid load bump and feed trimmer head line loads in seconds with three easy steps: align, feed and twist. Weather-resistant construction for durability and long life.
